NEVER A MASTER PLAN + Q&A ON MICRO-BUDGET FILMMAKING
From the director of the critically acclaimed documentary SUBURBAN STEPS TO ROCKLAND - THE STORY OF THE EALING CLUB, here comes a narrative film entirely set in Ealing! After the screening, director Giorgio Guernier will be joined by Bafta-nominee film director Lucy Brydon for a conversation on micro-budget filmmaking.
NEVER A MASTER PLAN consists of a series of interconnected vignettes that offer a genuine portrait of a group of West London creatives as they navigate through life. All in their 20s and 30s and actors, musicians, students and artists, Lee, Celeste, Tippy, Jim, Enrico and Thomas are on a journey to find their place in the world while living on the fringes of the capital and with limited opportunities and money.
Achingly authentic, this realistic snapshot of modern city living is a tribute to cinema vérité and features surprise appearances from counterculture music legends Vashti Bunyan and Mike Watt (Minutemen, The Stooges).PT2H182025-06-01Giorgio Guernier
